“New Wesleyan Chapel” at the Pier, Dover, in 1789:

The Revd Mr WESLEY is expected to preach at his chapel in Canterbury on Monday 14th of this month at 6 o'clock. He will open his new chapel at the Pier in Dover on Tuesday 15th at 6 o'clock. On Wednesday at Sandwich at 12 and Margate at 6 in the evening. On Thursday again at Canterbury at the same hour.
