The Maison Dieu ( Dover Town Hall ) building is in great need of restoration to its former glory. The Dover Society has started a restoration fund with a donation of £ 600 from a member.
The Society also plans a major Heritage Lottery Fund bid but this will require matched funding locally.
The Dover Society wishes to thank all the people who helped with the attempt to raise funds through a small lottery.
